Carla has been in the event planning business for over 17 years. She began this career at Saks Fifth Avenue where she was the Manager of Special Events for the New Orleans store. This experience gave her the opportunity to work with world-renowned designers and planners. In creating and hosting fashion shows and in-store events, parties and fundraisers for this luxury brand, Carla developed a keen eye for detail and creativity. She carried this over to her career at The Shops at Canal Place where she was the Marketing Director for 12 years. Her relationships with national retailers as well as community leaders allowed her to execute over 300 parties and fundraisers of all sizes.
Carla's natural love of food, music and flowers started at a young age. A native New Orleanian, she grew up with every family milestone being a celebration. Parties and dinners with fine food, wine, flowers and more took place not only in New Orleans but extended to family in Texas and Florida as well as Washington DC, where Carla graduated from Mount Vernon College. Her organizational skills allow her clients to breath easy and not worry about a thing...knowing Carla will take care of it all!
